How it works for Nonprofits| Coaching Corps

Contact a Coach

The Coaching Corps can help nonprofits get started on their content strategy with Box. Each session is 1 hour long. To find a coach, search active volunteer coaches by keyword or subject expertise and find someone from whom you'd like help. In your initial message, please give a brief but detailed description of the problem you're trying to solve.

Pick a Date and Time for an Intro Call

Your coach will send you three potential dates they can meet for an initial scoping session. Select the date and time that is best for you. This initial session will be used to talk about your needs, how the Coaching Corps volunteer fits into it, and whether there is a good fit.

Do Your Pre-work

In order to get the most out of the session, we provide you with resources in the intro call to kick-off your Box journey and set a foundation for your Box knowledge. Then, you can dive deeper during the session with your coach.

Have Your Advisory Session

Your advisory session will happen by video. The coach will work with you to understand your organization’s needs and discover how they can help. If your needs are limited to architecture guidance or troubleshooting, this conversation may be all that’s needed. Any follow-up actions or conversations after the advisory session should be mutually agreed upon by you and the coach. In some instances, it will make sense to book another session with a different coach.

Provide Feedback

Want to give your volunteer coach some kudos or offer feedback on ways to make volunteer engagements even better? Provide a review of your experience to help other organizations find the best volunteer for their projects, and to help the Coaching Corps work even better. These reviews will be used for internal purposes only.
